Smithville School

The Smithville School is a historic site located in Silver Spring, Maryland, owned by the IUL Smithville School Museum and Education Center. 

Scope of Work: 

Kim Engineering (KIM) prepared the plans and a feasibility study for renovation of an existing barn to provide meeting and classroom space. The Maryland Historic trust holds a preservation easement on the property. Ms. Carpenter worked closely with the owner and project architect to research and prepare the feasibility report for this project.
