Kim Engineering served as the 3rd Party Testing & Inspection consultant for the new $85 million 172,000 square foot 6,000 seat event center. The all-in-one athletics venue will be home to the UMBC Retrievers Men and Women’s basketball teams as well as the women’s volleyball program. The center will also serve as a space for commencement and concert events. KEI services included: Soil testing, Concrete Testing, Structural Steel Inspections, Electrical Inspections, and Asphalt testing.
